An exclusive space that will provide a controlled number of fans with the option of watching the Caribbean Series games from a terrace and choosing to sunbathe or enjoy each of the games that are held in the stadium in a heated jacuzzi. professional baseball team Jorge Luis García Carneiro, known as the Forum de La Guaira, was inaugurated by investors and authorities of the central coast, a few hours before the start of the Caribbean fair.
Baptized with the name of Terraza Vip Sport Bar, it is a structure made in containers, in the spaces located behind the central garden of the Macuto stadium, in the state of Vargas. It has a bar, restaurant, two terraces, one with a view of the sea and the other of the stadium, where in addition to tables, chairs and hanging rocking chairs, there are three jacuzzis.
“This terrace is added to the related works of the Macuto stadium, such as the shopping center, the hotel, the restaurant and the casino, which will work in this sports facility,” explained the governor of the coastal state, José Alejandro Terán. He noted that the investment to develop this space is part “of the alliances made between the regional government and private businessmen.”
The official indicated that since the beginning of his administration, a year ago, new spaces have been opened on the Cinta Costera de La Guaira and the stadium, totaling more than 700 direct jobs, mostly occupied by residents of the central coast. .

Investors in the Macuto stadium
Among the investors who bet on the idea are Omar León, who was the manager and co-owner of the Los Cacaoteros de Miranda baseball team, which was part of the Bolivarian National Baseball League, where it reached the championship for four consecutive years, from 2016 to 2019. In addition, there is José Luis Da Costa, who currently chairs the La Guaira Football Association.
Accompanying the businessmen as special guests were baseball players Miguel Cabrera, Freddy García and Ugueth Urbina.
Although the idea of incorporating swimming pools and jacuzzis in a stadium is not new, since there have been similar spaces since 2018 in soccer sports fields in Europe and in baseball stadiums, such as Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, and more recently at the Marlins Park in Miami, in the case of Venezuela is an unprecedented offer.
“We are committed to opening this space before the Caribbean Series to make a quality offer to those who come to the stadium. It is a private space that allows you to watch the games in a unique environment,” said Omar León. He added that the project includes, in the second stage, the construction of two paddle tennis courts and six lines with batting machines.
