President Alberto Fernández greeted Argentine lawyers today for the International Day of that profession and urged them to “fight for a fairer world where Law is fully in force.”
In a message that he spread through the social network Twitter, the President expressed his wishes for “a very happy Lawyer’s Day to all the lawyers who practice this profession”

The date pays homage to the professionals of this discipline at an international level and at the same time promotes the diffusion among societies of knowledge related to law.
In this way, each country has a particular date to commemorate Lawyer’s Day. In Argentina, the anniversary is related to the history of national law: it is August 29, in honor of the birth of the politician and jurist Juan Bautista Alberdi.
