Internet signal retransmission center operated within La Victoria dismantled

The operation of the military units, of different armed bodies of the Ministry of Defense, as well as of the National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD), allowed the seizure of 312 sharp objects, both of industrial origin and of artisanal manufacture.

The authorities seized 496,003 cigarettes of a well-known brand (which, moreover, are smuggled into the country across the land border), two police uniforms, a military jacket, 17 watches, a landline telephone, 40 drones to cut out, a calculator and 720 fans that will be reinstalled in response to a climatic need.

The search seized 514 portions of a green vegetable, which is presumed to be marijuana, weighing approximately 2,875.2 grams, and 6 portions of a white powder, presumably cocaine, weighing approximately 234 grams.

The authorities seized 71 refrigerators of different sizes, most of them executive type, 11 microwaves, 35 blenders, 24 toasters, 7 electric stoves, 3 table ovens and 4 scales. Hernández Basilio explained that all the appliances will be delivered to the relatives of those deprived of liberty because their use on the premises implies privileges.

The victory It houses 7,582 prisoners, which represents a third of the total prison population in the country, which amounts to 27,146 people.

“We know that it is a facility with a high rate of overcrowding, but the prison authorities continue to make efforts to guarantee the integrity of all those deprived of liberty,” said Hernández Basilio, who thanked the effectiveness of the armed bodies that intervened in the operative.

“Interventions like the ones we did on Monday by order of the magistrate Miriam German Brito they only seek to improve the services of those deprived of liberty, so that they can serve the sentences imposed by the justice system in an environment that guarantees their integrity and brings peace of mind to all their families,” he added.
