The National Assembly (AN) installed this Thursday the Youth Group of Parliamentarians, who will have the task of deploying throughout the national territory, to listen to the needs of popular power.
The act was headed by the president of the Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, who stressed that it is the task of the youth to build the new path of the Revolution.
«It is the moment, in which you are in the stellar situation of construction. We already have a path traveled, walked, but the future does not belong to anyone other than you. The future of bra maintenance, of this construction that is reborn in a different way », he stressed.
On the other hand, he referred to the more than 900 sanctions promoted by the United States (USA) against Venezuela, which has affected the most vulnerable sectors.
These sanctions were aimed at “attacking what is most precious to the revolution, the well-being of the people, a people who had been renegade, but who now have health, culture, sports, food, life, independence, sovereignty,” he stressed.
“The main contribution that Commander Chávez left us, not only physical but also spiritual, is the recovery of the vision of the Homeland, of humanity, that they had taken from us, that they had taken from us,” he added.
The new body – which will be made up of 70 deputies – will articulate and discuss the issues of the people, and will be a space for political debate for the youth of the AN.
In the same way, they will be in charge of reviewing the laws related to youth to disseminate the rights and duties of this sector.
