Huracán, champion of the 2014 edition of the Argentine Cup, faces Yupanqui, a rookie team, this Wednesday in the round of 32, at the beginning of the second week of competition of the tournament.

The match will be played at the Ciudad de Caseros stadium from 9:30 p.m., with refereeing by Lucas Comesaña and broadcast by TyC Sports.

Huracán started the 2023 Professional League tournament precisely with a valuable victory over Defensa y Justicia 4-2 in Florencio Varela and now he seeks not to be surprised by Yupanqui.

The team from the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Lugano is going through a historic moment since on Friday they made their debut in the First C after having achieved the first promotion in their 87-year history.

The team led by Adrián Tossi did not have the best start as they lost 3-0 against Deportivo Español, but they will try to make a big splash against one of the champions of the federal tournament.

The “Trapero” already participated in the 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14 and 2014/15 editions but had never reached the main draw of the Copa Argentina.

The winner will face Instituto de Córdoba or Deportivo Riestra in the round of 32, which still do not have a scheduled date.
