This Tuesday, the Water Subcommittee, attached to the Permanent Commission for Administration and Services of the National Assembly (AN), agreed with the Caracas water technical committees to continue strengthening the legal bases that allow access to natural resources, with regard to the construction of the Organic Water Law Projectapproved in its first discussion and included in the Legislative Agenda 2023 of the national parliament.
During the regular installation meeting of the subcommittee, coordinated by the deputy, Albino José Bracho, it was approved to create a 2023 action plan, to attend to the water service in an expanded manner, to the different states of the country.
“We are convinced that water is a fundamental resource for life, it is one of the vertices that our President Nicolás Maduro and the head of the AN, Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, have marked as one of the public services to defend, consolidate and guarantee. that the participation of the People’s Power is present”, indicated Bracho.
The deputy reported that during the 2022 parliamentary period, this issue was the spearhead for strengthening the technical water tables and brigades for immediate responses, promoted by the competent ministry.
