This February 1, 2022 there are changes in the traffic of Quito due to the presence of debris after the alluvium recorded the day before.
Due to flooding and mud accumulations in different parts of Quito, service public transport presents news this Tuesday, February 1, 2022. The Municipality of Quito reported that the stops of the Trolleybus La Mariscal, Colón and Santa Clara are closed. The route of the articulated ones is carried out by alternative routes to Av. 10 de Agosto in the vicinity of these platforms.

The municipality also reported that the Circuit C2, which joins the Morán Valverde in the south to El Labrador, in the north, is suspended. However, the following routes are enabled:
South Sector:
- C1: from El Recreo to El Ejido stop
- C4: from Quitumbre to El Ejido
- C6: from Quitumbre to El Recreo.
North:
- C1: from El Labrador to the Cuero y Caicedo stop.

The North Central corridor operates to the Seminario Mayor stop, north-south. It does not advance to La Marín. Near La Colón it makes a turn and returns to La Ofelia station.
The Metropolitan Transit Agency (AMT) also reported on the validity of a Transit Operational Plan por the emergency of the alluvium. There it is reported that they are closed:
- Av. Mariscal Sucre (in its two directions of circulation) from Av. Mariana de Jesús to Av. Universitaria.
- Av. Mariscal Sucre and Calle Mejía in a south-north direction.
- Av. América (both directions) near the depressed passage of Plaza Indoamerica.
- Ramírez Dávalos and Ulloa streets, east-west direction.
- Mercadillo and Ulloa streets (two directions of traffic).
