The president of Country AllianceGuillermo Moreno, assured that the lack of opportunities, even for professionals, motivates many youths Dominicans to emigrate to other countries, sometimes irregularly.
When commemorating National Youth Day this Tuesday, the political leader exposed the need to create real employment and study opportunities. This is to eradicate the adverse circumstance in which thousands of young people live, who neither study nor work.
Moreno deplored the fact that there is not a sufficient number of polytechnic high schools and higher technical institutes in the country. He also believes that the universities themselves are not linked to production, which means that, in many cases, companies do not accept young people due to lack of experience. He affirms that they will never have it if they are not given the proper opportunity to acquire it.
“Dominican youth deserve real opportunities to develop their talents and abilities. In this way, he will have the guarantee of a decent life for his family, ”he pointed out.
