The Secretary of Citizen Security reported that the events were due to operations that were carried out in neighboring municipalities, it detailed in a statement.
Throughout the night an operational deployment was maintained between the Municipal Police, FSPE, the National Guard and the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), in the municipality of Celaía in the state of Guanajuato.
“The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Celaya (SSCC) works in coordination with SEDENA, GN and FSPE to provide security to citizens,” the text details.

Through social networks, the inhabitants of the area shared a series of images and videos where the burning of at least two Oxxo chain stores and cars.
