The president expressed the will to strengthen political and diplomatic dialogue, as well as to advance in all areas that “we distinguish in which we can have economic-commercial cooperation.”

As explained by the Panamanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for its part, the agenda included talks about the next meeting of the Political Consultation Mechanism between the two countries and the Mixed Cooperation Commission.

Mencomo, who traveled to Havana together with the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Federico Alfaro Boyd, has also met with his counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez, and with the head of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca.
