They recover the body of a person drowned in the Piraí river

This Monday, members of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) carried out the removal of the body of a person around 50 years of age on the banks ofthe Piraí river. The body of the man, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the city morgue.

This Monday, the city of Santa Cruz was surprised by a torrential rain, which began at dawn and lasted until almost noon. When the intensity of the rain subsided, around 10:20 in the morning, a neighbor found the lifeless body in the water and reported it to the police authorities.

According to the official report made by the Felcc troops, “it is about an unidentified man (NN) of approximately 50 years of age”, white-skinned, wearing black pants. It is believed that he died by submersion (drowning).

The body was taken to the city morgue, located in the Pampa de la Isla area. So far no one has come to identify it.
