They intervene Bolivian with food for vandals

What was this gentleman doing in Ica? The Police intervened yesterday with a Bolivian citizen who had left his country –located more than 1,200 kilometers away from the southern city– to deliver food to the protesters who have been blocking several sections of the highway for ten days. and they maintain frequent confrontations with the troops.

Luis Fernando Aróstegui Ramos was driving a truck in whose hopper he carried several bags of food. The vehicle had a circulation permit certificate for tourist purposes. After the intervention, the Police released this foreign citizen.

For criminal affairs expert Andy Carrión, distributing food would not necessarily constitute a crime, even if it is intended for protesters who are blocking roads. It would constitute a crime if the foreigner transferred stones, sticks or money. However, he pointed out that the Prosecutor’s Office could initiate an investigation after this news became known.

DID NOT DIED BY A BULLET

On the other hand, The Forensic Medicine autopsy certificate from the Public Ministry confirmed that Víctor Raúl Santisteban, who died during the violent confrontations in the center of Lima, did not die from a bullet wound, but from a hard blunt object.

Hours later, the Public Ministry ordered to open a preliminary investigation “for homicide in the context of violation of human rights in social protests” against those who are responsible for this death.
