One year and two months after going into hiding after denouncing political persecution of the governmentJuan Carlos Manuel Huallpa, former president of the Potosinista Civic Committee (Comcipo), passed away.
His body arrived at 10:00 this Sunday at the San Miguel Arcángel de Potosí funeral home, from the city of La Pazas reported to EL DEBER this funeral home.
The causes and circumstances of the man’s death critical of the Movimiento Al Socialismo government (MAS) are unknown. Her family said she was not ready to talk about it.
However, Nelson Gutiérrez, vice president of Comcipo, told the media that Manuel suffered from diabetes and hypertension and that these diseases could be the cause of his death because they could not be treated by a doctor due to the situation in which he lived since November 2021.
It should be remembered that in that month, specifically on the night of Thursday the 9th, the Ministry of the Interior deployed an intense police operation to capture the civic leader from San Luis Potosí, as well as Gutiérrez and the president of the Comcipo Mobilization Committee, Ramiro Subia.
They raided several properties and apprehended relatives of those required, as is the case of the Subia’s brother who was temporarily detained because he was confused with him. There was no penalty for excessesrecalls the newspaper El Potosí.
On that occasion, the former president of Comcipo and former vice-presidential candidate for the Creemos group, Marco Pumari, was apprehended and later sent to prison.
