The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) An extraordinary session will be held this Monday the 30th to evaluate the situation of social upheaval that our country is going through, reported the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Maria Gervasi.
According to the foreign minister in statements to RPP, the call is made at the request of Colombia, adding that the conclave will allow the government of Dina Boluarte “To share with the nations of the continent the efforts that Peru is making to overcome this complex political crisis that we have been going through since December 7 of last year.”

On the other hand, the Andean parliamentarian Luis Galarreta sent a letter to Foreign Minister Gervasi so that, in her capacity as president of the Andean Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, she convenes the Andean Presidential Council to “evaluate the subregional integration process.”
Specifically, he said, the “unacceptable interference of some heads of state of member countries of the Andean Community, as is the case of Bolivia and Colombia.” Along these lines, he also requested that the application of Decision 878 of the Andean Community be evaluated, that is, he indicated, “the suspension of the migratory flow between Peru and Bolivia.”
