The president of the Association of Real Estate Companies of Peru (ASEI), Juan Carlos Tassara, stated that putting water and drainage to a single living place that is the result of an invasion can cost the State up to S/120,000.
“You cannot put a house on the side of the river or the hill; otherwise, we will have more accidents. We have to think that formal housing generates savings for the owners and the country, ”he assured.
In this sense, he pointed out that it is necessary, to close the housing gap, the support of the State through subsidies to acquire real estate.
On the other hand, the Colliers Consulting and Research manager, Sandro Vidal, pointed out that with the pandemic the needs have changed when buying a home. Now they are looking for more common areas that have a barbecue area, activity room, gyms, laundries and even movie theaters.
This allows the acquisition of an apartment of approximately 60 square meters, since people will find in those areas what they do not have inside their property.
