The teams of Herrera and Panama Este extended their lead, while Bocas del Toro and Coclé got their first win in the Round of 8 of the National Youth Baseball Championship.
Panama East 4-1 Herrera
With an excellent pitching job from Brayan Vergara who pitched 8 solid innings allowing only 5 hits and one run, for Herrera to beat Panama East 4 runs to 1 and put the series in his favor 2 games to 0.
Abdiel Alonso batted 4-2 with an RBI and a run scored; Jorge Pinilla and José López both went 1-for-3 with a run scored.
Panama Metro 6-16 Cocle
Roderick Lezcano had 4 hits and drove in three runs, while Iverson Allen homered, driving in 2 runs and scoring three as Coclé beat Panama Metro 16-6 by knockout in 7 innings, taking the lead in the series from 1 game to 0.

Chiriquí 10-11 Bocas del Toro in 13 episodes
In a kilometric match the ninth of Bocas del Toro surpassed 11 runs for 10 in thirteen innings to Chiriquí.
