Governor of Madre de Dios defended himself from bullets from vandals who attacked his home

The regional Governor of Madre de Dios, Luis Otsuka, defended himself with bullets from a group of vandals who attacked his home located on Av. 2 de Mayo with Av. Lambayeque, in Puerto Maldonado.

In dialogue with Channel N, he indicated that more than 1,000 people came to his house and began to throw stones, break his windows, and even tried to set fire to his home while he and his family were inside.

Here there were people guarding, but they had no weapons. The mob began to blow up all the windows, throwing fuel to burn down my house. Here I call the Minister of the Interior and all the ministers at the national level how can they send a soldier to war if they don’t have a gun”, he pointed.

“In other words, social cost, how nice. Let them kill me, all my family here and they are happy. Mr. Minister, take your cards at once and solve at once this serious problem that is not mine, it is at a national level. Here I call the attention of the Minister of the Interior, what is happening. To the Executive, what is happening in Peru”he asserted.

Likewise, Governor Otsuka explained that the protesters destroyed his car and caused injuries to his arm and head.

“This what gentlemen ministers, they want me to start killing all these people. Everyone is wanting to burn down my house, my family, am I going to let them die? From here I call on the President of the Republic to take action on the matter, that this can get out of hand”he urged.

Finally, he indicated that the next time vandals come to attack his house, he will not spare their lives.

The next time they come, I’ll kill them, because that’s my right. If the police won’t do it, I will. This is the last time I forgive them. It is not correct that they come to destroy something that took me many years”sentenced.
