Delgado assured that unity is essential in Morena and that Noroña will contribute to achieving said unity. “Welcome, Gerardo, you are our friend and you will always be with us,” he said.

In a letter, Mario Delgado called on the Morena leaders to promote the Morena candidates as presidential candidates.
The names of the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum; Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard; the Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López, and Senator Ricardo Monreal.
Delgado assured that the letter was to promote an even floor and equity in the internal contention.
Deputy Gerardo Fernández Noroña, who is a member of the Labor Party (PT), has publicly shown his intention to run for the presidency in 2024.
