The Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López, defended, in a brief tweet, that the electoral reform of the current government, known as plan B, It will mean savings in the operation of electoral institutions.
Without specifying the amount of savings – government data locates an amount of 3 thousand 500 million pesos, as announced by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador at the end of last year – the official published his laconic message: “The plan B it is enough to reduce the onerous expenses of the INE and the Oples, although Mexico still needs a deeper electoral reform”.
