Universidad Andrés Bello receives Top Employer certification for the second consecutive year

This Tuesday, January 17, it was officially announced that Universidad Andrés Bello was recertified for 2023 by the Top Employers Institute, an independent institution of great prestige globally that recognizes organizations from all over the world for their good practices in Human Resources.

The Top Employers Institute program certifies organizations based on their participation and results in the Best Practices Survey, where it performs an analysis of six domains of the human resources area divided into 20 different topics, such as people strategy, environment employment, talent acquisition, learning, well-being, diversity and inclusion, among others.

In this way, Universidad Andrés Bello, for the second consecutive year, has obtained this certification, positioning itself as the only Higher Education institution in Chile and one of the two universities in South America to have the Top Employers seal.

“This achievement demonstrates the commitment that we have as a university with continuous improvement and in this specific case with the area of human resources. I am convinced that we are making UNAB a good place to work by understanding the current challenges at a global level and allowing our collaborators to develop and grow, both personally and professionally”, says Julio Castro, rector of Universidad Andrés Bello.

Compared to the rest of the certified organizations worldwide, UNAB stands out above the average in the domains of Structure (95.98%) and Management (92.18%), related to strategic management, leadership, change management, work environment and digital HR systems. Likewise, it increased its scores with respect to the previous year in the dimensions of Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, and Career.

In relation to this certification, David Plink, CEO of Top Employers Institute states that “adapting to the challenges and demands of this year that, as in the previous year, have had an impact on organizations around the world, Universidad Andrés Bello has continued to demonstrate that it prioritizes the implementation of excellent people practices in the workplace. Top Employer companies continue to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world of work while working tirelessly to positively impact the lives of their employees. We are pleased to celebrate and applaud the organizations that have been certified as Top Employers in their respective countries this year.”
