From 5:00 p.m., hundreds of citizens began to arrive at the Plaza de las Banderas in the city of Cochabamba, to attend the call made by the Citizen Platforms to the National Cabildo, determined in the meeting with the Pro Santa Cruz Committee.
After several interventions by different representatives, the consultation of five questions was given:
1. Do you agree with the ratification of the 2019 fraud, prosecute those responsible and the closing of the processes in the case of Coup 1 and 2?.
2. Require the president release all political prisoners and the cessation of political persecution?
3.Audit of the electoral roll, In charge of an independent international organization that is transparent to any electoral process?
4.Demand transparent justice and independent of political power?
5.Rejection of the implementation of the new student curriculum?
In addition, the National Council, meeting in Cochabamba, proposed three de facto actions:
1. Since the month of May, start the recall process for the president Luis Arce Catacora.
2. Prepare a citizen march to the city of La Paz.
3. Start, from the month of May, the economic blockade with the massive withdrawal of users of the state company Entel.
Once completed, a march and blockade was determined on Circunvalación and Atahuallapa avenues (North zone), where heavy transport circulates.
A strong contingent of the Cochabamba departmental police was waiting for the citizens who came from the Plaza de las Banderas. Once there, the people tried to block the avenue and the police officers cleared the area; at times there were shoving and shouting.
After a few minutes, the Police controlled the situation and the people left the place.
