The provinces of Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Neuquén and Río Negro registered sources of active forest fires in their territories, while the fire that affected Chubut until last Tuesday is contained, the National Fire Management Service (SMNF) reported this Wednesday.
According to the agency’s daily report, the towns affected by the fire are Ituzaingó, in the area of Villa Olivari and Anguá, in Corrientes; Gualeguay, in Entre Ríos; Loncopué, in Cerro Hoyada, in Neuquén; and in the areas of Arroyo Ushuaia, Río Foyel and Río Ternero in Bariloche, in Río Negro.
While, the flames were “contained” that affected Futalaufquen (Laguna el Tarro) in Chubut until Tuesday, while the other fires unleashed in the province are under control.
The SMNF indicated that in Corrientes The flames were “contained” in Ituzaingó (Ñupy 2 and San Marcos), and “controlled” in Curuzú Cuatiá, Colonia Pando, Santo Tomé and San Martín.
In Between rivers The fire in Gualeguay was contained and the focus of La Paz (Los Talas) was controlled.
To the south of the country the flames near the city of Bariloche in Río Negro were extinguishedin Pinar de Adeful, while the fires in Bariloche, in the Campo Foriester area, were “controlled” and those in the Esandi and Havana areas were “contained”.
In Land of Fire, the fire in Tolhuin (Carmen Vieja) is contained.
The agency also indicated that in the province of Buenos Aires The fire that affected the towns of Zárate, Campana (Route 12) is “controlled”, and the fire in the Ciervo De Los Pantanos National Park (Tajiber) has been extinguished.
At the same time, In Buenos Aires city the flames in the Costanera Sur Reserve were “controlled”, which implies that the “control line has been definitively established” and it is considered that “there is no possibility of regrowth”.
While, forest fires were “extinguished” in Ledesma and San Pedro, in Jujuy, and in Capital, at the height of Río Salado, in Catamarca.
The Ministry of the Environment sent aerial means required by the jurisdictionsand made available more air resources and personnel to fight the fire if requested.

In Entre Ríos, the Boeing Chinook aircraft operated and a fire hydrant plane from the SNMF and a helicopter for the transfer of personnel from the Ministry of Defense are available to operate, while 18 combatants from the NEA National Brigade provide support.
