The defense of the Zegarra Motors workshop requested, via a request before the prosecutor in the case, that the Governor of Potosí, Jhonny Mamani, certify whether the two people who deceitfully managed the NIT of that workshop to insert it in the contract of the companies are officials or former employees. 41 ambulances.
“Requirement: To the Governor of the Department of Potosí, so that, through the Human Resources section, he can send the corresponding certifications: 1) Certify if Mr. OMB is an official of the Government of Potosí, or if he is a former official (… ) 3) Certify if Mr. VNAP is an official of the Government of Potosí, or in his case, a former official”, reads the request submitted by the defense, to which he agreed Page Seven Digital.

The contract for the 41 ambulances was signed on November 26, 2021, but eight days earlier, on November 18, two alleged officials from the Government of that department appeared at the Zegarra Motors workshop to present the owner with “a job proposal with the Government”, which was related to the maintenance of the 41 ambulances, which – they stressed – had already been acquired and were on their way to Bolivia.
The alleged official who returned to the workshop asked the owner for his Tax Identification Number (NIT), his operating license, Fundempresa registration and his identity card to sign the corresponding contract.
The owner gave him simple photocopies of the documents and also sent them, via WhatsApp, to the numbers of OMB and of V. NN himself. However, they no longer returned to the workshop, despite indicating that they would return in the afternoon.

In the minute of the administrative contract GADP CD and E No. 215/2021, the NIT of the mechanical workshop appears in the section “Documents Integrating the Contract”.
That is why the owner filed a complaint against Estefals Logistics, the company that was awarded the acquisition of the 41 ambulances, for the alleged commission of the crime of ideological falsehood.
