Vargas warns about deterioration of services

Miguel Vargas Maldonado expressed concern about the inconveniences generated, in his opinion, by the incompetence shown by the current administration, whose management highlights the bankruptcy of fundamental services.

Referring to the situation that affects Dominicans “here and there” regarding the deficit of passport books, the president of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) and presidential candidate stated that it is an unacceptable unpredictability.

He argued that the campaign and spending carried out by the Government in an attempt to promote tourism is counterproductive, while exhibiting such a worrying failure regarding an elementary service, as well as fundamental, such as the passport book.

Vargas recalled that last year the current management took the Punta Catalina thermoelectric plant out of service for months due to the delay in the purchase of coal, an elementary issue in terms of public management.
