According to the Main Results of the Mobility Survey of the Asunción Metropolitan Area (AMA), published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), most of the population travels by car (driver), representing 29.8%, followed by 25% travel on foot and 17% by Bus/Collective.
Of a total of 629,423 households consulted, 7 out of 10 have a vehicle. In addition, men, 55.5% over 45.5% of women, are the ones who travel to Asunción the most. They do it mainly to work (51.3% of the total).
The last national census reached 97.5% of the population, 2.5% remain pending.
