Santo Domingo, RD.- officers of the National Policeattached to the Central Research Directorate (dicrim), they deepen the investigations in search of a newborn (two days old) denounced as stolen from his mother early this Saturday, January 21, in the postpartum area of the San Lorenzo de Los Mina Maternal and Child Hospital, in Santo Domingo Este.
Regarding the case, officials of the dicrim They have interviewed more than 10 people in search of information to clarify the case and locate the girl, including doctors, nurses, security personnel, taxi drivers and the young mother of the child, whose identity is withheld.
The National Police specified that as soon as the medical and security personnel of the aforementioned health center reported the case, a team of officers appeared at the Los Mina Maternity Hospital to initiate the investigations, for which multiple actions have been carried out, including the corresponding surveys according to the protocols in this type of situation.
The body of the order affirmed that progress has been made in the investigative process, for which reason it said that it hoped to respond to the case, to restore happiness to the girl’s mother and her relatives.
