Sources consulted by RCN Radio revealed that the Dignidad political party, the result of the split from the Polo Democrático party and led by presidential candidate Jorge Enrique Robledo, would endorse the presidential candidacies of Sergio Fajardo and Carlos Amaya, members of the Centro Esperanza coalition.
Even Jorge Enrique Robledo assured on his Twitter account that “Since Dignidad obtained its legal status, it was at the service of the members of the project, (Coalición Centro Esperanza)”.
“Since #DIGNIDAD obtained its legal status, months ago, we said in the #CoaliciónCentroEsperanza that its legality was at the service of this entire project and each of its parts. And that we have ratified at this time. That was and is serious for the benefit of Colombia“, wrote.

Notably Fajardo and Amaya were left without endorsement by the Oxygen Green party, after Ingrid Betancourt resigned from that group.
Who is at a “crossroads” is the former peace negotiator Humberto de la Calle, who announced that he requested this Monday before the National Electoral Council (CNE), if he incurs double militancy by being head of the Senate list for the coalition of Hope, with the endorsement of the Oxygen Green party.
“If Ingrid Betancourt leaves the Centro Esperanza coalition, because I have the endorsement of Verde Oxígeno I must refrain from supporting candidates from the Coalition, which is a political disaster, a head of the Senate list that cannot support the candidates”, said de la Calle in dialogue with RCN Radio.
Faced with Betancourt’s departure from the coalition, De la Calle stated that “there is a very great feeling of risk. I feel like this has hurt you. I trust that we will pass this turbulence. Hopefully the Electoral Council decides quickly and the coalition with or without my candidacy, I managed to overcome this.
