They will build more than 57 thousand homes with approved plans in 2022

A total of 112 procedures for construction plans and 230 preliminary projects in different regions of the country, for the construction of 57,718 housing units, were approved in 2022 by the National Directorate of Single Window of the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning (Miviot). .

With the 112 approved plans, 24,822 housing solutions will be built, indicated Miviot, noting that of these 9,469 are for West Panama, 5,483 for Panama, 4,289 for Chiriquí, 3,738 for Coclé, 823 for Veraguas , 613 for Herrera, 389 for Bocas del Toro and 18 for Colón.

Miviot explained that the province of Chiriquí was where the largest number of plans were approved with 37, followed by Panama Oeste with 27, Panama (22), Coclé (13), Veraguas (6), Herrera (5), Colón (1) and the same. amount for the province of Bocas de Toro.

Likewise, it is specified that, of the 230 favorable registered draft plans, 59 belong to buildings that will be built in the province of Chiriquí, 54 in West Panama, 44 in Panama, 22 in Veraguas, 20 in Coclé, 14 in Herrera, 11 in Los Santos, four in Bocas del Toro and two in Colón.

Regarding the number of housing solutions that will be built with these plans, they specified that 10,907 solutions in West Panama, 7,655 in Panama, 6,198 in Chiriquí, 3,109 in Coclé, 1,773 in Veraguas, 1,312 in Herrera, 989 in Los Santos, 708 in Bocas del Toro and 245 in Colón, which together give a total of 32,896 solutions.

For this same period, the National Directorate of Single Window announced the number of favorable segregation procedures, where it points out that 11 thousand 81 are of Approval for Cadastre and 9 thousand 558 are of registrations to the Public Registry.
