Young man arrested with false COVID vaccination cards and those he sold for RD$3,000

A mixed patrol of the National Police and the Army of the Dominican Republic (ERD) arrested a young man in Santiago who they accuse of selling false vaccination cards against Covid-19.

The detainee is Hanley Dansier Calderón Reyes, a resident of the Olympic Village, south of the city.

His arrest took place in the La Zurza III sector, close to the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).

The police report establishes that the young man was seized with nine cards, which he sold at RD$3,000 each.

Of the documents, five were in the name of different people and the others were blank.

The detainee was also seized the Suzuki Addres, V125, grey, chassis CF46A-541020 and a cell phone.

The institution of order reported that Hanley Dansier Calderón Reyes was brought to justice. While they deepen the investigation to determine the origin of the cards.
