In this sense, the entity was against any violent act that could be registered in the demonstrations in Lima and in the regionswhich have as slogan the resignation of President Dina Boluartethe closure of Congress, the early elections and the call for a constituent Assembly.
“Violence is not part of the right to protest; episodes of violence do not enable the use of indiscriminate repression measures by the State”, the entity subscribes in its statement released on social networks.
Dina Boluarte rules out resigning after the increase in deaths in the country
For his part, Dina Boluarte assured that he will not resign from the presidency and stressed that the Executive is “more united than ever” despite the fact that last Thursday they registered three new deaths as a consequence of the repression of the Police against civilians and protesters in Puno and Arequipa.
“Acts of violence will not go unpunished, we will act with the full weight of the law. You want to break the rule of law, create chaos and disorder to seize power in the nation. They are wrong,” said the president in a conference with his ministers.
