Minsal announces vaccination schedule for the week of January 31 to February 6

The Ministry of Health released the vaccination schedule against Covid-19 for the week of Monday, January 31, and Sunday, February 6.

Health officials and immunocompromised people, who received their booster dose until October 3, will be able to receive the fourth dose. Meanwhile, the third dose will continue to apply to people over 12 years of age.

In this way, patients on dialysis (heme or peritoneum), with solid organ transplants and hematopoietic precursors, patients with cancer undergoing treatment (radiotherapy, chemotherapy or hormonal therapy) and people with autoimmune diseases receiving biological or small molecule treatments, will be able to be inoculated from this week.

The Undersecretary of Public Health, María Teresa Valenzuela, reported that this Monday, January 31, the inoculation of the fourth dose will also begin in Long-Stay Establishments for the Elderly (Eleam).

“We are working tirelessly to control this new wave of Covid-19 and we expect the collaboration of all citizens,” concluded the health authority.
