The company Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos (AySA) created for the first time a database with job profiles without identifying people by genderin order to dismantle the biases that unconsciously still operate in society when it comes to selecting personnel for certain jobs, it was reported this Wednesday.
In this way, under a new inclusive look, AySA will prioritize talent, academic training and work experience for the selection of its personnel.
“From the first day we incorporated the gender perspective into public works as a fundamental axis. We are working so that the health trade is no longer a sector with space only for men, but that there are opportunities for growth and professional development for all people,” he said. Since the beginning of his management, Galmarini began working on training its Human Resources teams in gender matters.
Now, and with the aim of completely eradicating gender biases, AySA implements the new “blind CV” as a method for calling future employees, the public company reported.
To date, more than 600 people have already left their Curriculum Vitae.
Through this search process, AySA has already selected women to fill positions that, historically, have been occupied by male personnel and, conversely, it has selected men to perform tasks that, in the area of water and sanitation, have traditionally been occupied by women.
