That house of about 150 square meters of construction was rented to Morena for 120 thousand pesos per month, but a month after Polevsnky left office, in January 2021 and after Alfonso Ramírez Cuéllar was appointed as provisional leader, a group of alleged morenistas broke into the property and has occupied it ever since.

The party stopped paying rent to Ávalos the following year, from January 2022, and has debts of two years of electricity and water, the singer declared Tuesday, in an interview for Aristegui Newswhere he asked President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for help to resolve the dispute and recover his property.

In response to their claims, the Finance Secretary, Francisco Javier Cabiedes Uranga, acknowledged the legal dispute but insisted that “Morena no longer has possession of it.”

After the illegal takeover in 2021 – a case that occurred with the burning of furniture on the outskirts of the premises and alleged theft of equipment – “the legal area of the Party issued various judicial complaints before the corresponding instances so that the respective authority would protect the building ”, Finance reported, without giving details of the status of these requests.

“In Morena, we have always maintained communication and privileged dialogue with the owner of the aforementioned property to inform her of the situation, ask her for her support to carry out the necessary procedures and offer her alternatives in order to avoid a conflict.” she indicated her.

It recognized that Morena maintained the payment of rents during 2021 and until January 2022, “even without having a valid contract or possession of the property”, an issue that the owner declared is recognition of Morena’s responsibility for its affiliates, who They maintain control of their property.

“Currently, there are legal differences between both parties that are in the hands of the authorities. We are waiting for the corresponding instances to resolve according to law. We regret that the owner, like Morena, has been affected. From the party we continue working to resolve this situation through legal means, ”said the financial area of Morena.

Also in 2021, the Morena leadership lost possession of another property: the Chihuahua 216 house, Colonia Roma, which was the “transition house” and where President Andrés Manuel López Obrador operated in part of the 2018 campaign. Since then and to date, it has been taken over by an internal group that opposes the leader Mario Delgado for alleged irregularities in the selection of candidates.
