Jeri Ramón, rector of the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) denounced that the congressman of Democratic Peru, Guillermo Bermejowent to the house of studies accompanied by other congressmen with the purpose of meeting and inciting the protesters.

Since last night, dozens of protesters from the south of the country have arrived at the university to be welcomed by a group of students who have taken over the facilities.
Throughout the early morning, several double-decker buses entered the study center with the help of this group of students, who today requested food from the residents of Lima to be able to attend to the people who are going to spend the night there.
As is known, the General Confederation of Workers of Peru (CGTP) called for a national strike for next Thursday, January 19, with a mobilization whose concentration will take place in Plaza 2 de Mayo at 4:00 p.m.
