In order to recognize the responsibility, the pedagogical contributions and the commitment to teaching the basic education subsystem, the Ministry of Popular Power for Education (MPPE), awarded the teacher of the year, in an act held at the Casa de Andres Bello in Caracas.
This was reported by the Minister of People’s Power for Education, Yelitze Santaella, who stressed that the day will last all week to attend to teachers from all over the country, who work in the 3,747 educational circuits of the nation.
During the act, Santaella stressed that education is forging the Homeland and ethical and moral values are planted.
Likewise, he highlighted the work of teachers in the country, which has not stopped despite the difficulties and the economic war against Venezuela.
“The future of the Homeland, which is its boys, girls and young people, is in our hands. Here is the knowledge, here is the learning of many years that men and women have dedicated to building Venezuela”, the education minister said.
