Maduro blames the "sustained labor" for the salary to the US sanctions

The Venezuelan ruler Nicolás Maduro insisted that he will defend the entry “in a thousand ways (…) Giving birth to resources? we will give birth producing? we will produce And sooner rather than later we will pass from this phase of labor and resistance, to a phase of sustained, sustainable improvement, of the integral income of the working class and the workers”

The salary announcements that would be made “in a few hours” by Nicolás Maduro, according to his vice president, they are still in the pipeline of the ruling party. The president again evaded the issue but did attribute a “labor phase” for sustainable income for workers to the sanctions issued by the United States and several countries of the European Union.

During the closing of the IV congress of the working class, from Valles del Tuy (Miranda state), Maduro reiterated the demand that the sanctions be eliminated, while saying that “it is up to the working class” to insist and maintain the protests in this regard. “Enough of torture and criminal persecution against the Venezuelan people (…) To the streets the working class, mobilizations.”

The ruler took the opportunity to once again explain and praise the seven lines of his government plan for 2023, and explained that “sooner rather than later we will move from this phase of delivery to a sustainable income for the working class.”

He insisted that he will defend the entry “in a thousand ways (…) Giving birth to resources? we will give birth producing? we will produce And sooner than later we will pass from this phase of labor and resistance, to a phase of sustained, sustainable improvement, of the integral income of the working class and the workers”.

He also questioned those who think that only with income they will be able to solve problems such as the poor state of school and educational infrastructure: «Do you think that we can solve the problems with rialazos (sic)? How many millions of dollars should we have to solve the infrastructure problems? (…) One thousand, two billion dollars? Gentlemen of imperialism, you can never have the strength and ingenuity of the working class.”

For this reason, he asserted that the bricomiles, which did not meet the goal in 2022they must recover 100% of the infrastructures in educational institutions for this new year.

In his speech, following a proposal from the Workers’ Productive Councils (CPT), Maduro gave seven days for the creation of a working-class training body under the name “Jesús Rivero”, integrating the ministries of Education, Science and Technology and University Education in the task. He also ordered the creation of a technical committee of the working class, which will report to him on a weekly basis on projects in the areas of agricultural production and science.

The ruler also said that to date 2,372 CPTs have been activated nationwide, with 10,517 spokespersons, 43% of whom are women.
