According to the latest epidemiological report circulated by the Departmental Health Directorate (DDS), in the period from 01/08/2023 to 01/14/2023, 3,754 new cases were detected in the country and there were 9 deaths with positive results for COVID – 19.
From the start of the pandemic to 01/14/2023 there are 1,029,564 cases and 7,597 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19. Active cases until 01/14/2023 are 3,288.
A total of 19,521 tests were carried out during the week and the percentage of positive cases was 19.2%.
As of 01/14/2023 there are 5.6% of ITC beds occupied by COVID-19.
To date, 4 people are hospitalized with positive COVID-19 in the department: 3 in the private provider room and 1 in the public provider room.
