Santiago – Police agents from the Municipality of San José de las Matas arrested a man who killed another, in an event that occurred on January 7 of this year, in the Yerba Buena sector of the aforementioned town.
This is Fausto Antonio Checo, 47, for having killed Carlos Antonio Espinal, now deceased, with multiple stab wounds.
According to the police report, Antonio Checo committed the criminal action to deprive Espinal of 19,000 pesos, deceased today, when he was at his residence.
The detainee upon being purged in our system appears with two records for illegal possession of a weapon dated 02-09-2010 and for gender violence on 11-08-2016.
The detainee in the next few hours will be subjected to legal action to know him coercive measure.
