Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reported that the product of a cold mass in the national territory will be registered low temperatures with values that will reach a minimum between 4 °C and 11 °C in mountainous areas such as: Constanza, Jarabacoa, Hondo Valle and Polo, among others.
Faced with these temperatures, the institution recommends wrapping up well and drinking hot liquids.
Likewise, he indicated that in higher altitude areas, such as Valle Nuevo and Pico Duarte, it can be from -4 °C to 2 °C, while in urban areas it will range from 16 °C to 21 °C.
On the other hand, he reported that some cloud concentrations are observed towards the Sierra de Bahoruco with possible weak and isolated rains.
On the other hand, in most of the Dominican territory, a mostly clear sky prevails, typical of the incidence of a cold air mass and low humidity that affects the country. Such fair weather conditions will continue to show through the remainder of the afternoon and evening.
Likewise, this Tuesday the influence of a cold and stable air mass will continue over the Dominican territory. In this sense, the sky will be mainly clear and without rain, and if some do occur, they will be weak and very isolated with occasional gusts towards the north, northeast and center of the country.
