For the second consecutive year, the specialized magazine World Finance recognized the Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana as Best Digital Bank and Best Banking App 2021 for its continuous innovation and digital value proposition that encompasses all areas of the institution.
These two new awards are added to various international recognitions granted to the banking entity in 2021 by prestigious specialized publications, as well as others in different categories granted in the country.
To declare Banreservas as Best Digital BankIn addition to evaluating the digital solutions, World Finance took into account the digitalization plans that the financial institution has under way, as well as initiatives carried out internally that seek a comprehensive digital transformation.
The publication paid special attention to the strategy used to make Banreservas a next generation digital bank, the proportion of online banking clients it has versus mobile banking, and the key focus areas for the next 12 months.
The magazine also took into consideration the extensive list of Banreservas products that could originate digitally; the use of social networks as a strategy to attract customers, the main activities that the Bank includes in its social networks and the cybersecurity strategy that it applies to protect customers without compromising their experience.
As for the line to reward the Best Banking App of the Dominican Republic, World Finance evaluated the efforts made by Banreservas to encourage customers to migrate to mobile banking services.
The international publication also valued the innovations made by the Bank to improve the experience of its customers, and the responses given to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and its effect on the incorporation of customers to mobile banking.
Among the various awards received in 2021 by Banreservas are those of Best Bank and Bank of the Year in different categories, granted by publications such as The Banker, Global Finance, Euromoney and Latin Finance.
At the local level Banreservas recently received 42 certificationsthe Seal of Good Inclusive Practices “RD Includes”, for the physical adequacy of 41
commercial offices and the creation of an internal sign language platform, awards that were granted by the Disability Council (CONADIS).
