Police units in operational actions coordinated with the Public Ministry in the Volcán sector in the province of Chiriquí, seized 60 packages with presumed illicit substances and apprehended one person.
The illicit substance was transported in three briefcases aboard a panel-type bus, which was located by police units upon observing the driver’s unusual attitude, said Commissioner Irving Castillo, head of the Chiriquí Police Zone.
This person together with the evidence will be placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities.
