As we had reported in Correo, the minor fell on Thursday afternoon into the mighty tributary in the Chuñumayo annex, district of Huachocolpa, province of Huancavelica.
Initially, the police officers from the district police station, together with the residents of the sector, began the search, which was joined by members of the Huancavelica Fire Company No. 56, under the command of CBP Section Officer José Contreras Huamán.
After several hours of searching, at almost 6:00 p.m. the body of the minor, who had gone fishing in the aforementioned tributary, was found near the place where he fell, for which the proceedings to remove the body began.
It was learned that the minor had fallen into the river after losing his balance while fishing with a cast net.
