Foreign Minister Gil held meetings with representatives of three countries

The Minister for Foreign Relations, Yván Gil, held meetings this Friday with representatives of different countries, in order to strengthen bilateral relations between nations.

Specifically, the Venezuelan foreign minister held meetings with the representatives of the countries of Vietnam, Türkiye and Belarus.

The first meeting was held with the Vietnamese ambassador to Venezuela, Le Viet Duyen; where the different cooperation agreements were reviewed.

“Together with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam accredited in Venezuela, Le Viet Duyen, we reviewed various cooperation plans with the purpose of continuing to expand and consolidate relations in favor of integration,” Gil wrote on the social network Twitter.

Between Venezuela and Vietnam, more than 60 agreements have been signed in different areas, with emphasis on the oil, agriculture and energy sectors, and we are also making progress in a fundamental element: commercial exchange.

After this meeting, he held a meeting with the ambassador of Türkiye, Aydan Karamanoğlu; where he addressed the importance of strengthening the strategic alliance between nations.

“In a meeting with the Ambassador of the sister Republic of #Türkiye?? in Venezuela,
@AydanKaramanolu, we address different issues related to the bilateral relationship in order to continue strengthening the important strategic and cooperation alliance of our nations,” the Venezuelan foreign minister wrote on the social network.

For its part, from the Embassy of Türkiye in Caracas, it was detailed that, in addition, “the high-level visits planned for the next period” were discussed.

It should be remembered that Venezuela and Türkiye have signed agreements on tourism, agriculture, among others.

To finalize his work agenda, Foreign Minister Gil – who was appointed last week as minister by President Nicolás Maduro – held a meeting with the Belarusian ambassador, Andrei Molchan.

In this meeting, they aimed to strengthen the map of cooperation between nations.

“In order to continue strengthening our ties of friendship with the Republic of #BelarusI held a working meeting with Ambassador Andrei Molchan, in order to continue advancing in the consolidation of the map of cooperation that our nations share,” he stressed, on the social network Twitter.
