Through a Supreme Decree, the Executive declared 2023 as the “Year of Unity, Peace and Development”. This was made official this Friday, January 13, in the bulletin of Laws from the newspaper El Peruano.
Supreme Decree 004-2023-PCM establishes that during 2023 the approved phrase will be recorded in official documents.

The standard has the endorsement by President Dina Boluarte and the head of the Council of Ministers, Luis Otárola.
In the considering part, the State promotes transparent dialogue at all levels of government in order to optimize the application of national policies and the democratic values enshrined in the Constitution, which will ensure a culture of peace and protection of rights for all citizens.
It is also indicated that this measure is in accordance with the provisions of numeral 8 of article 118 of the Political Constitution of Peru and the Organic Law of the Executive Power.
