The Indigenous Parliament of America (PIA) will continue to be committed to the original peoples, through the promotion of Bills for the period 2023-2024informed the president of the deputy group Kariela Aray.
According to a press release from the National Assembly (AN), the president of the PIA Venezuela highlighted that the organization is open to listen to the legislative proposals of the people in the national territory and promised to continue, together with the deputies, to disseminate the legal norms that have been approved to respond and solutions to the country.
He also indicated that during the installation of the group, Deputy Nelson Mavio was ratified in the first vice presidency, and in the second vice presidency, Deputy Keyla Marín. In the secretariat, César Carías continues and as undersecretary, Eloísa Carolina Martínez was appointed.
He stressed that the PIA has a work network that involves political and legislative issues, supported by regional councilors and legislators, for the construction of laws in favor of the indigenous people.
