Deep sorrow caused in Concepción, the death of Alberto Mues Lukeearly this Thursday, at the age of 82.
Of German origin, Mues, was a member and founder of the Asociación Asistencial Kolping Family Conception and volunteer by vocation.
“His contribution to the development and recovery of the religious heritage of Chiquitos will remain for eternity,” are some of the awards he received.
Mues was one of the promoters of the construction of the clinical laboratory in the heart of Concepción.
“In fact, three days ago I met him and he told me that this work should be finished this year to put it at the service of the Kolping Family and the population,” said Pedro Tarrazona, current president of the institution.
A cardiorespiratory arrest was the probable cause of his death, according to Tarrazona. Mues suffered from some underlying diseases.
Various institutions and sectors of the population expressed their pain at the departure of Alberto Mues, who arrived 60 years ago as a volunteer and put down roots in this provincial capital.
