Form new Directive of the Municipal Council of Caracas

Conforman nueva Directiva del Concejo Municipal de Caracas

The Municipal Council of Libertador in Caracas, swore in the members of the new Directive for the 2023-2024 legislative period. This was announced by the outgoing undersecretary, Erika Bernal Echeto, according to the newspaper Caracas Cityin his web page.

«This Wednesday, January 11, the new Board of Directors of the Caracas Municipal Council was elected, made up of President Jimmy Gudiño; Vice President Doralis Silva; Secretary Jorge Cordero; and Undersecretary Sandy Guzmán,” said Bernal Echeto.

The formation of the Directive was agreed by the councilors in a protocol act held in the Sessions Hall of the Municipal Council, according to the review of Caracas City.

The representatives of the National Assembly (AN), Benavides Torres, Alí ​​Alejandro Primera, Juan Carlos Alemán, Carlos Sierra, among others, attended the event.

The president of the municipal legislative body, Jimmy Gudiño, thanked the responsibility, emphasizing that they would respect the Constitution and that they would never accompany actions against it, affirming that from the Municipal Council they would guarantee the union.

Finally, he assured that the instance will maintain the debates with the different sectors of society to approve ordinances that give greater prominence to People’s Power and generate stability, peace and development in the nation.
