MADRID, Spain.- The Mossos d’Esquadra (Police of Catalonia, Spain) arrested a Cuban for allegedly leading a gang known as “La Manada de Castelldefels”, accused of sexual assault.

“The five arrested, men between 30 and 35 years old, the majority from Castelldefels and of Spanish, Cuban and Romanian nationality, acted in an organized manner as serial sexual offenders,” the information specifies.
These men, who were looking for women to sexually assault them, They were denounced by three victims, “although it is suspected that there are at least two more.”
The three victims, who were captured by the same person, the ringleader, said they had been sexually assaulted in 2021 by this group, when its members held clandestine parties taking advantage of the closure of the premises due to the measures by COVID-19.
The victims were attacked and sexually assaulted by the accused after the consumption of alcohol and drugs. In addition, they recorded them and shared the images in their WhatsApp group, called ‘K-TEAM’.
The investigation had begun in May 2021 with the complaint of a young woman who went to the Gavà police station to report the events that had occurred at a home on Pompeu Fabra street in Castelldefels. After the identification of two other victims, they located the attackers.
“After finding evidence of a crime, they proceeded to arrest him on December 19. Two days later, the investigative court number 5 of the town ordered his entry into preventive detention, ”Telecinco explained.
As for the Cuban, he specifies that, based on the tapped conversations, and the statements of those arrested, it is believed that he was in charge of maintaining a second life and recruiting women on dating applications such as Tinder or Badoo. The three victims have been able to identify him and have reported that they were captured by him.
