This Friday, January 13, fuel prices in Panama will rise, reported the National Secretariat of Energy when announcing that 95 octane gasoline will increase five cents, leaving a liter at one dollar and one cent. For its part, 91 octane gasoline rises four cents, which represents a cost of 0.96 cents per liter.
While low sulfur diesel will go up two cents and will cost one dollar and seven cents per liter.
The National Secretariat of Energy explained that with these new fuel prices, which will be in force until 5:59 in the morning on Friday, January 25, they will continue to register savings per subsidized gallon, in 95 octane the savings per gallon will be 58 cents. In 91 octane gasoline it will be 0.39 cents and in diesel the saving would be 0.81 cents.
Let’s remember that the gallon of 91 and 95 octane gasoline, also diesel maintain a subsidy of 3 dollars and 25 cents.
