This Wednesday, in a virtual way, the legislators that make up the Impeachment Committee of the Chamber of Deputies will meet for the first time to advance with the strategies, within the framework of the impeachment that seeks to advance against the Supreme Court of Justice.
The committee will study the cause which has been promoted by President Alberto Fernández and a group of governors. Likewise, the Commission must define whether there is an opinion to move forward with the impeachment.
The strategy is part of the decision adopted by the ruling party to delay the call for extraordinary sessions in Congress, where it is expected to bring the complaint of impeachment In the next weeks.
The 16 legislators of the Frente de Todos that make up the Commission will participate in the meeting, led by the national deputy from the same bloc, Carolina Gaillard. For their part, the deputies of Together for Change announced that they will not give a quorum.
As it was known, the meeting will be preparatory, since the Commission will meet officially when the presidential decree is released to start the extraordinary sessions in Congress during January and February, and where other projects will also be discussed.
In this way, the Frente de Todos will be able to define the strategies to follow to defend the project, while, on the part of the opposition, they are also preparing to try to block the initiative, since they are determined to stop the judgment.
Likewise, the ruling party expects more legislators to join the cause, so that it obtains an opinion and, subsequently, it is dealt with in the venue, where two thirds of the votes of the deputies will be necessary for the project to be approved and to begin. the impeachment in the Chamber of Senators.

Last week, the president convened a group of governors to move forward with his complaint against the Court.
